Ingredients
1 10-ounce bag frozen strawberries
1/2 c. white chocolate liqueur
6 tbsp. butter, melted
1 box Super Moist Yellow cake mix
1 stick Butter, cubed
1/3 c. white chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Step 2Grease (with butter or oil) a 9x9 square cake pan (see note).Step 3In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mix melted butter, frozen strawberries, and white chocolate liqueur. The butter might harden, but just be sure the strawberries are evenly covered. Step 4Dump strawberries into baking dish in an even layer.Step 5Pour strawberries over cake mix and tap baking dish on the counter to even it out.Step 6Evenly distribute butter cubes over the top of the cake. Step 7Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Step 8Top with white chocolate chips at the 40 minute mark so that they don’t burn but still get a little melty. Step 9Serve with whipped cream and fresh strawberries if you have some.
