Ingredients
3/4 pound pork chop suey meat1 teaspoon canola oil1 medium onion, chopped1 garlic clove, minced1-1/2 to 2 teaspoons chili powder1/2 teaspoon dried oregano1/2 teaspoon ground cumin2/3 cup water1 tablespoon tomato paste1/2 teaspoon sugar1/4 teaspoon salt1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Preparation
In a large skillet, brown pork in oil. Remove and keep warm. In the same skillet, saute the onion, garlic, chili powder, oregano and cumin for 2-3 minutes or until onion is tender.
Stir in the pork, water, tomato paste, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes or until pork is tender. Stir in the cream; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
