Oil for deep-fat frying2 large eggs3/4 cup dry bread crumbs1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted1/2 teaspoon salt1 pound sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
Preparation
In an electric skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 350°. Meanwhile, whisk eggs in a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, mix bread crumbs, sesame seeds and salt. Dip cheese in eggs, then roll in crumb mixture to coat all sides, patting to help coating adhere.
Fry cheese, a few at a time, 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until golden brown, turning occasionally. Drain on paper towels.
