Ingredients
1 package funfetti cake mix (regular size)1 can (15.6 ounces) funfetti vanilla frosting1 pound white candy coating, coarsely choppedRainbow jimmies or nonpareils
Preparation
Prepare and bake cake mix according to package directions, using a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Cool completely on a wire rack.
Crumble cake into a large bowl. Add frosting with candy bits and mix well. Shape into 1-1/4-in. balls. Place on baking sheets. Freeze for at least 2 hours or refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until cake balls are firm.
In a microwave, melt candy coating. Dip each cake ball in coating; allow excess to drip off. Sprinkle with jimmies or nonpareils. Let stand until set. Store in an airtight container.
