Ingredients
6 tablespoons wasabi mayonnaise or plain mayonnaise8 slices sourdough bread (1/2 inch thick), toasted2 large heirloom tomatoes, sliced1/2 teaspoon sea salt1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper1/2 large sweet onion, thinly sliced8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
Preparation
Spread mayonnaise on 1 side of each slice of toast. Top half the toast slices with tomatoes, salt and pepper. Add onion, mozzarella and basil; top with remaining bread slices.
