Ingredients
1 pound ground beef1/2 cup chopped onion2 cups water2/3 cup ketchup2 tablespoons prepared mustard1 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper2 cups uncooked instant rice2 slices cheddar cheese, cut into 1-inch strips
Preparation
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the beef and onion; drain. Add water, ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper; mix well. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Cover and remove from the heat; let stand for 5 minutes. Top with cheese; cover and let stand for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
