Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened1 cup packed brown sugar1/2 cup sugar2 eggs1 teaspoon vanilla extract3 cups old-fashioned oats1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking soda1 teaspoon ground cinnamon1/2 teaspoon salt1 package (10 ounces) cherry chips1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chips and walnuts.
Drop by tablespoonfuls 3 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 11-13 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks.
