Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped3 garlic cloves, minced3 tablespoons olive oil4 cups vegetable broth1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles1/4 cup tomato paste1 tablespoon soy sauce1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar1-1/2 teaspoons lime juice1 teaspoon dried basil1 teaspoon dried oregano1 teaspoon ground cumin

Preparation

In a large saucepan, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until heated through.
